Day 86

Let's start with some '70s obscura.

Moxy - "Out of the Darkness"

Was posted in a thread about Ben Weasel on a message board.

UFO - "Rock Bottom"

For 1974, Michael Schenker lays down the most killer riff not done by Tony Iommi.

Black Sabbath - "Spiral Architect"

Sabs didn't actually relase an album in 1974, but Sabbath Bloody Sabbath came out late in 1973.

On a tangent, can Charles Barkley look anymore out of place unprofessional. Get a wardrobe consultant dude.

Deep Purple - "Burn"

More 1974 riffage, this time courtesy of Ritchie Blackmore, even if the keyboards get a little overbearing.

3:50ish. I got a review on on Beeradvocate.com too: Here.

~4 pm. VCU forgot to show up for the second half?!? Let's go Rams!

4:13 pm. Back to 8. Keep it up.

4:31 pm. No T for the Kansas player punching the floor?

4:37 pm. Awaiting the stat for if no number one seeds ever reached the Final 4.

Robin Trower - "Bridge of Sighs"

More 1974 riffage.

Floorpunch - "No Exceptions"

Since I mentioned a floorpunch above, here's the 90's chugga-core band.

Judge - "No Apologies"

Little bit earlier. 7" has aged better.

De La Soul - "Potholes in My Lawn"

Hadn't gotten to these guys yet.

Blue Oyster Cult - "Astronomy"

Staying in Long Island...and with 1974.

Running counts: 553 songs for 2011.
