Day 76 Part 1

I obviously will not stay caught up with who is in the tournament, but let's get started where we last left off.
Bucknell - UConn.
Could only find a few never-wases from the home of the Bison (as is often the case in the Keystone State).
Vatican Commandos - "Hit Squad for God"

Moby graduated UConn.

I will be shocked to find a band for either Wofford or BYU...

The Lettermen - "Sealed with a Kiss"

BYU is actually the first school I've come across who's wikipedia page has a separate section for music but all I could find was the "creative force and catalyst" of this MORish vocal group.

Belmont-Wisconsin currently tipping off.
Graduates of the former seem to be country/christian Idol-related or some combination thereof.

Mecht Mensch - "Govt Lies"

From Madison. Again I'll go with the local U assumption. Steve Miller almost graduated if you need a back-up.

Sonic Youth - "100%"

Producer Butch Vig graduated.

A Big 10-Pac 10 battle should provide some good fodder.

Milt Jackson - "Bag's Groove"

Attended Michigan State.

Peter, Paul & Mary - "Leaving on a Jet Plane"

Paul graduated. I won't make any assumptions with Lansing-area punk bands.

Black Flag - "Slip It In"

I could fill a week of blogs just with UCLA folks listed on their wikipedia page but Ginn and Kira both graduated.

Following game is Gonzaga - St. John's
Bing Crosby & David Bowie - "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth"

Bing went to Gonzaga...I know not the right time of year for this, but I was kinda' surprised it was made so close to his death.

Run DMC - "Hard Times"

DMC went to St. John's.

A Big 12 - Big East showdown is next.
Coalesce - "Have Patience"

Drummer James Dewees attended U of MO.

Al Hirt - "Green Hornet"

Graduated U of Cinci.

Let's pause. Part 2 upcoming.
Running count: 490 songs for 2011.
