#45 Frank Zappa. Probably his best guitar jam.

Elvis Presley - "Good Rockin' Tonight"

#44 Scotty Moore. So I'm noticing these old guys I barely heard of fall in categories of either never quite had their due or "legendary sidemen."

Funkadelic - "Maggot Brain"

#43 Eddie Hazel. I know Bootsy Collins and probably Bernie Worrell would place up there on bass or keyboard lists.

King Crimson - "21st Century Schizoid Man"

#42 Robert Fripp. Kind of a relief to get on to more prog.

The Byrds - "Time Between"

#41 Clarence White. Prob. not the last we see of this seminal band.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Susie Q"

#40 John Fogerty.
